Proud Promotion Announcement

We are proud to announce the promotion of Mr. AD Spangenberg to the position of International Agricultural Services Manager, starting August 1 2010.

He will be reporting to Praba Govender, Group Operations.AD has been with GIG for two years, and was previously in charge of our Silo bag storage and management services worldwide. His track record includes amongst other things the set up and management of Silo bag operations in the Sudan and Australia. He has selected his own professional team to assist him with the good continuation of service delivery to our international client base, and as such will be seconded by Mr. Koos Maarschalk as back office administrator.

Koos is a certified grader, and has over ten years of experience in the agricultural inspection and certification field.

AD and Koos will be replacing Mr. Nashlin Stephen and Nicolene Fourie respectively, who after a successful time at GIG have chosen alternative career paths. We wish them well in their new endeavors.
